Wilmette Witches Ride:
October 10, 2026
Wilmette is about to get a little more whimsical! Join ladies from across the community for the Wilmette Witches Ride! Decked out in your best witchy attire, we’ll “fly” through the streets of Wilmette, spreading Halloween spirit along the way. Family and friends are encouraged to line the route, cheer on the witches, and catch some candy as we ride through town.
The real magic of the Witches Ride is the impact we make together. Every witch is asked to make a minimum charitable donation of $45, helping turn a fun night out into meaningful support for our community. Our 2026 ride beneficiary is Erika’s Lighthouse, an organization dedicated to bringing mental health education and support to young people.
This year, we’re adding a little extra magic to the Witches Ride! Those who would like to take their fundraising a step further are encouraged to rally their friends, family, and fellow witches to support the cause. The witch who raises the most money will earn the ultimate honor: Head Witch and the honor of leading the pack to kick off the 2026 Wilmette Witches Ride.
MEET UP | 3:00pm | block party style @ the corner of Harvard St & Birchwood Ave
WITCHES TAKE FLIGHT | 4:00pm
RIDE ENDS | 4:30pm-ish | we land in downtown Wilmette
After the ride, you're free to fly off or stick around and stir up some fun in downtown Wilmette! Meet up with fellow witches or keep the coven vibes going wherever the night takes you.
Whether you’re riding or watching, join us for a night of friendship, community and giving back.
the fine print:
Witches are responsible for supplying their own candy to toss along the route. If you’ve got a generous throwing arm, bring a little extra to keep the magic flowing. Costumes from riders and viewers are encouraged!
If the weather is bad, our makeup ride is scheduled for Sunday 10/11. If conditions are still unsafe, the ride will be cancelled and all money raised will still be donated.
